Dylan Thomas
Growing up as an athlete my whole life, molding my lifestyle around that of an athlete; I faced a lot of adversity in College that played a factor in me not playing ball at the next level (professionally). Some of the adversity seemed to fall out of thin air but impacted me in such a negative way. There were times that I lost my faith because I could not understand why someone who did just about everything right in order to be successful, continued to face adversity time after time after time.
Katrina was someone who helped me see pass Dylan Thomas the athlete and helped me see all the other aspects of myself that I didn't get to show on the football field. Katrina was someone who I was blessed to have in my life because I was almost on a path that I would not have been proud of. Katrina poured into me when she did not have to. She listened when she did not have to; and that continues until today. The messages of encouragement, the verse of the week followed along with bullet points and other real life examples were the difference for me. Whether I responded or not, Katrina continued to be there and I will forever be grateful for her. Thanks to Katrina, my faith is stronger than it has ever been and when faced with adversity I often lean on the tips and words of encouragement that Katrina shared with me.

The level 27 life coaching and advising has been a huge impact to my life. From transitioning from a collegiate athlete to an upcoming pro athlete, Level 27 has been so challenging on many different levels. While becoming the person I am, I had hit rock bottom. Not knowing who I was or who I would want to be. Or was it that in the mist of adversity I lost sight of my goals and dreams. When reading and walking myself through level 27 coaching I was able to regain who I was and build a deeper foundation with God and strengthen my legacy mindset.
In the process, I was able to create a plan of action and not overload myself with big goals while focusing on the things in front of me. I have been able to manage my values and goals within the realms of God. I’m still incorporating level 27 coaching.
Katrina is the founder and has also been such a great mentor along the way. She has introduced and challenged me to be who I am today. Katrina is built on the foundation of Christ and has impacted many individuals to this day. She has helped me navigate my ways and not only that, she has written many different books that will encourage you to challenge yourself.

Looking back, I can say with full confidence that your presence during my time at TCU was one of the most pivotal parts of my journey. You weren’t just an academic coach — you were a life coach in every sense of the word.
When I was injured and unsure if I’d ever play football again, much less walk the same way, you helped shift my entire mindset. You never let me lose hope in getting back on the field, but you also challenged me to think beyond it — to rediscover myself, to show up fully in the classroom, and to take ownership of my identity outside of football.
Your approach was so holistic. You saw the whole person — the athlete, the student, and the man I was becoming. Whether it was helping me stay on top of my coursework, navigate difficult days in rehab, or find purpose in the moments I felt lost, you were consistent.
You held me accountable in the classroom, and at the same time, you poured into me spiritually and mentally. You helped me realize that discipline, mindset, and faith aren’t just game-day tools — they’re life tools. You taught me how to transfer the work ethic I had on the field into every other area of life.
Anyone who has the chance to work with you should know this: you don’t just coach people to perform — you coach them to transform. I’m grateful for your voice, your leadership, and your heart. Thank you for believing in me and helping me step into who I truly am.

My experience with Katrina and Level27Coaching began when I started college in 2018. As a student athlete , navigating balancing academics and athletics turned up a notch and was oftentimes very challenging. Her advising has been nothing short of helpful and honestly very uplifting when it comes to not just finishing the week but preparing for the week ahead. She has helped me grow and push through finishing tedious work and tasks. I’ll never forget those late nights in the academic center. She has given me a broader perspective on trusting , maintaining goals , and staying aligned with purpose no matter how I feel. I appreciate Katrina’s wisdom and how she always connects her challenges to biblical principle. I strongly recommend giving Level27Coaching a go!!

First and foremost, I want to take a moment to thank Katrina for being such a significant part of my journey during my time at Texas Christian University. I am beyond grateful for the unwavering love, support, and mentorship she poured into me. It truly meant the world.
As a former student-athlete, no one quite prepares you for what college has in store, both mentally and emotionally. Katrina was and continues to be one of the best blessings TCU gave me. After transferring, I never again experienced the kind of support and presence Katrina offered. She was there through all my mental rollercoasters, helping me stay grounded when I felt lost or overwhelmed. Everyone deserves a Katrina in their life someone who helps them navigate the unique challenges of being a student-athlete.There’s something about her spirit that reminds me of home. That’s the best way I can describe the warmth and love she shares with her students.
To have someone believe in you so deeply, to see you beyond just the athlete you are, that’s rare. But when you find someone like that, you never forget them. Even at your lowest moments, you remember their words, their presence, and the way they made you feel seen. You begin to understand you are so much more than just an athlete.
